Q: Where can I purchase a Ruth’s Chris Steak House gift card or gift item?
A: Ruth’s Chris Steak House gift cards can be purchased on our website, in person at any of our Ruth’s Chris locations or by phone at (800) 544-0808 ex 999.
Q: Can I personalize the message on the gift card carrier?
A: Yes, you can add a personalized greeting on the gift card carrier. Please note that it will be sent exactly as typed so pay extra care when entering your message.
Q: How will I receive confirmation of my online order?
A: You will be prompted to include your email address during the order process. Once your order has been placed, you will be sent a copy of your order which will also serve as your receipt. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please Email Us.
Q: May I ship the gift card or gift item directly to my recipient?
A: Yes – you will have the option during the order process to ship the gift card to yourself or your recipient.
Q: What should I be looking for in the mail?
A: If the order was sent using standard US mail service, look for a white envelope bearing a Ruth’s Chris return address. If the order was sent Priority or Overnight, the card(s) will come in a white bubble-pack package with “Optimum Fulfillment Services” as the return address label.
Q: I am interested in purchasing gift cards in bulk quantities. What programs do you offer?
A: Please contact our Manager of Gift Cards at (877) 354-7884 to discuss bonuses for purchases of $5,000 or more.
Q: Can I return or exchange my gift card or gift item?
A: Gift cards are non-refundable except in states where required by law.
Gift Card Delivery
Q: When are orders filled?
A: Orders placed before midnight PST will be shipped and filled the next business day, Monday through Friday (excl. holidays and weekends).
Q: What are my delivery/shipment options?
A: Gift cards may be delivered via USPS 1st Class Mail – this is complimentary. Gift cards shipped via USPS 1st class mail cannot be tracked and will take approximately 7-10 business days to arrive.
Gift cards can be shipped USPS Priority Mail. This method can take 3 – 4 business days depending on mail volume.
Gift cards can be shipped overnight mail using UPS using UPS Standard Overnight Service which does not include Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays.
Q: Do you ship to Canada?
A: We mail cards to Canada via US first class service. Delivery times vary and this service cannot be tracked.
Q: Do you offer a Saturday overnight delivery?
A: We do not offer any Saturday overnight delivery services.
Q: Is there a signature required for delivery sent via UPS?
A: No, a signature is not required. Your package will be left at the front door or with the reception person at your place of business.
Q: Will UPS deliver to a P.O. Box?
A: No, UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box. You will need to ship the gift card/gift item to a physical mailing address.
Q: When will my gift card/gift items arrive?
A: Gift card and gift item orders are processed & shipped the next business day, Monday-Fridays excluding holidays.
USPS 1st Class Mail – approximately 7-10 business days
USPS Priority – 3-4 business days
UPS Standard Overnight – 2 business days, including the one to process. (If you place your order on Monday, it will be filled on Tuesday and arrive on Wednesday).
Canada: 10 – 14 business days
Note: UPS will not make delivery attempts on Saturday, Sunday or on Holidays. Ruth’s Chris Steak House is not responsible for shipping delays due to courier error or inclement weather.
Q: I have not received my online order, what do I do?
A: For fastest service please Email Us. If needed, we can cancel the original gift card that
was shipped and ship a replacement using the same delivery method as your original order. If
you would like to have it reshipped via another delivery method, the additional cost will be your
responsibility.
Using your Ruth’s Chris Steak House Gift Card
Q: Where may I use my Ruth’s Chris Steak House gift card?
A: Our gift cards may be used at any of our US & International locations.
Q: Can Ruth’s Chris Steak House gift cards be used for tax & gratuity?
A: Yes, you may apply your gift card to the entire check including food, beverage, tax & gratuity.
Q: Can I use more than one gift card to pay for my check?
A: Yes, you may use as many gift cards as you wish to pay for your meal.
Q: What will happen if I do not use the full amount of the gift card in one visit?
A: The balance will remain on your gift card until your next visit and until the full value has been depleted.
Q: Do gift cards expire?
A: Purchased gift cards do not expire. We do not charge a maintenance or non-usage fee to your gift card. We do issue promotional and business trade gift cards that do expire.
Q: I have a Holiday Bonus gift card - does it expire?
A: The 2011 Holiday Bonus card is a promotional item and is valid from January 1, 2012 to March 31, 2012. The dates in which the card is valid are printed on both sides of the gift card. We regret that Holiday Bonus cards cannot be extended.
Q: Can my Ruth’s Chris Steak House gift card be replaced if lost or stolen?
A: Unfortunately Ruth’s Chris Steak House is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. However, if you have a copy of your gift card purchase receipt, please Email Us for assistance.

Safeguard this card. Cannot be replaced or replenished if lost, stolen, or used without authorization. CardFact VII, Inc. is the card issuer and sole obligor to card owner. CardFact may delegate its issuer obligations to an assignee, without recourse. If delegated, the assignee, and not CardFact, will be sole obligor to card owner. Purchase, use or acceptance of card constitutes acceptance of these terms.
